ZTP, the strategic energy software and management consultancy, is pleased to announce becoming a gold sponsor of the Major Energy Users’ Council.

The Major Energy Users’ Council (‘MEUC) has been established for over 30 years and its objectives are to make energy and water understandable for customers. It keeps members up to date on the energy and water markets and customer compliance through information, advice, training and meetings.

The sponsorship with the MEUC will see ZTP participating in the Council’s annual ‘Big Bash’ Conference & Forums in London on 6-7 March 2019. The theme of this year’s Big Bash event, which is aimed at large energy and/or water consumers, will be Managing energy risk in these uncertain times – and ZTP will discuss the recent launch of its energy risk management platform, Kiveev. The new platform has been designed to digitalise the procurement and management of flex power and gas contracts, providing users with enhanced clarity of position, risk mitigation, time saving and budget control.

Over the course of 2019 ZTP will also participate in MEUC roadshow conferences and exhibitions in London and Leeds (October 2019) and the firm will also attend MEUC Policy Group meetings. ZTP will also host educational workshops for MEUC members.

ZTP co-founder and director Joe Warren, said:
“This year long sponsorship allows us to work with, and educate the MEUC members on our management techniques for energy consumption and procurement. With a focus on risk analysis, transparency and visualisation of costs, our software Kiveev, can provide market insight that will maximise opportunities for the members. We also plan to aid the members with accurate market forecasts to allow the best possible purchasing strategy and decisions – maximising savings and minimising exposure to risk.”

Peter Roper, chief executive of the MEUC, said:
“MEUC is delighted to welcome ZTP as new sponsors to our exciting programme of educational events over the next 12 months. ZTP is a very forward thinking business and brand, as the recent launch of their energy risk management platform, Kiveev, has shown.”
