National and regional meetings

National meetings are held in good quality venues either in London or Birmingham about once every three months. MEUC’s Christmas Reception at the House of Commons is a regular fixture. Regional meetings are held from time to time in southern and northern venues on members’ premises.

Invited expert speakers combine with MEUC staff to tackle the issues of the day as well as regularly reviewing the outlook for energy prices and contract terms. Recent subjects covered include How to Prepare for the Carbon Reduction Commitment and The Credit Crisis and Changing Contract Payment Terms.

Complimentary buffet lunch and tea / coffee periods allow ample time for making new and renewed contacts with fellow members. They also offer opportunity to meet the presenters informally and follow up points raised in the question and answer sessions.

Members can register their attendance by contacting Sandra Barradas at sandra.barradas@meuc.co.uk

Those considering membership can attend as a guest for the day, click on Be Our Guest
