Information when you need it

MEUC keeps subscriber members up to speed in these fast moving markets. They also have access to specialist advice as they need it.

Regular contact with Ministers, regulators, suppliers and our member organisations places the MEUC centrally within these markets and allows us to report and offer advice on issues as they arise. The information is provided to Members through four principal channels:

For over twenty years medium size and larger organisations have come together through the MEUC to ensure they are buying their utilities cost effectively and managing their use intelligently to avoid unnecessary waste.

One of the most valuable services that the MEUC provides for members is to save them time and money in solving disputes with suppliers. Arguments over bills can go on for a long time and involve expensive legal action. New contracts can be difficult to negotiate. One MEUC member was forced to close down because of flooding until MEUC involved the suppliers CEO. If you have a complicated problem contact Andrew Bainbridge ab@meuc.co.uk. If he doesn’t know the answer, he’ll know someone who does.

Here's one of many good reasons for becoming a member of the MEUC:-
