With the option to stay on for the Members’ Water Meeting
in the afternoon
This summer’s MEUC Members’ Regional Gas & Electricity Forums are different from our National Meetings. Limited in number they are discussion mornings. Each session is led by the MEUC team providing update reports followed by a general discussion giving opportunity for you to raise and debate issues of greatest concern. Topics expected to come up include:
- Problems with suppliers’ credit terms and the action that the MEUC is taking
- Onerous terms which are increasingly surfacing on contracts renewal
- Forward pricing prospects in a market lacking supplier competition
- Signing up and reporting for the mandatory Carbon Reduction Commitment scheme
- Current gas and electricity issues.
Hosted by two MEUC members, these regional events provide a great opportunity to keep up-to-date with fellow members and to exchange ideas over a buffet lunch. Our grateful thanks for the provision of the venues to the Corporation of London and UK Coal.
A water Meeting will be held in the afternoon in London with a session on Monitoring and Controlling Water Costs and Practical Water Management. A full programme for these meetings will be issued shortly. The Doncaster meeting will conclude with an on-site visit.
