HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR ENERGY INDUSTRY FIT FOR THE FUTURE?
This year’s Westminster Energy Conference was held again at the Engineering Employers Federation in Tothill Street, close to the St James Park underground station on Tuesday, December 8th.
Invited speakers included Mark Hirt, the CEO of GDF Suez, David Kennedy, the CEO of the Committee on Climate Change and Nic Winser, the Executive Director – Transmission, National Grid. Clive Moffat, well known to Members, will also be providing an update on EU developments and the implications for UK industrial and commercial consumers. The conferenc was also scheduled to see the launch of the MEUC’s new and fully reconstructed Website with a Members’ blog and Members’ enquiries options providing closer links between Members and with MEUC staff. Proceedings concluded with an open discussion over tea on how the MEUC can further improve its services to members in the year ahead.
