What Members say about Us

Satisfied Members are essential to running the MEUC. Here is what some of them say about us. For those considering joining, we will be pleased to put you in touch for a private conversation.

"We were all very happy to participate in the Roadshows that you and your team organised and we see the MEUC as an important forum in which to continue to involve ourselves."

Robert Groves, Chief Operating Officer, Smartest Energy.

" The Major Energy Users' Council has been there for Trinity Mirror for over 18 years and their expertise and technical advice is as critical today, indeed if not more so, than at any time in our long relationship."

Allen Palmer, Group Services & Environmental Manager, Trinity Mirror

"The MEUC’s annual conference in December was outstanding, not to be missed, the scope and coverage were wide, deep, topical and well-balanced. The networking opportunities were unparalleled".

Paul Mott, EDF Energy – Energy Regulation Manager

“Joining MEUC is the best thing we have ever done. We have been able to secure contracts with much more confidence. A major advantage has been that I can share information with like-minded individuals and benchmark our prices against other members’ achievements. Often the only information that ever seems to be available is from suppliers. Without an in-depth knowledge of the market we don’t know how well we are doing. We needed an unbiased opinion. The MEUC’s knack of attracting some major speakers to meetings is a great help.”

Jonathan Hughes, Engineering Services and Energy Manager, Midlands Co-op

"The professional guidance and support of the MEUC has proved invaluable in focusing the energy purchase and management strategy of our organisation. Substantial cost savings have been made by implementing the recommendations of the Energy Groups."

Beryl Keegan, Environmental Co-ordinator, Northern Rock
